Change whether a page is visible in your site navigation menu

You may create a page that you don't want to show up in the main navigation to your site. This may be a page you are currently working on that you don't want people to see yet, or it may be a page that you only want your customers to get to through another page of your site. You can accomplish these things by setting its menu visibility.

  1. in the Live Editor, click "Pages" in the toolbar.
  2. Click the green or red icon to toggle menu visibility. Pages with a green icon are visible. Those with a red icon are hidden.
  3. Click "Save" to save your changes immediately.

You can still create links to pages that are hidden from your site navigation.

Delete a page

Occasionally you may wish to remove a page entirely. Maybe you have made a significant change to your business, or you want to recreate a page from scratch. Please take into careful consideration that you will not be able to undo this action.

In the Live Editor, click "Pages" in the toolbar.
  1. Click the trash can icon next to the name of the page you wish to delete
  2. Confirm that you do indeed want to delete this page (this is not reversible!)

Page Title

The title of your page is the name it gets in your sites navigation menus or tabs. It is very simple to change.

  1. Open the page you'd like to change in the live editor
  2. Click the "Page title" tab
  3. Change the name of your page in the text box
  4. Click "Save"

Page Layout

The layout of your page determines how many columns your page has. Most themes are designed with the two column layout in mind, but all of them should work great in any of the three layouts.

This can be set individually for each page. For example, you may want a one column layout for your photo gallery page and a three column layout for your news page. It's all up to you!

  1. Open the page you'd like to change in the live editor
  2. Click the "Page layout" tab
  3. Select the layout you want for this page
  4. Click "Save"

Your existing content on the page will be formatted to fit into the layout you select. You can always change the page back if you change your mind!

View on the web

If you click the "View on the web" tab, a new window will open that simply shows your site as your visitors see it. Use this view to make sure everything looks exactly how you like it before you finish editing the site.
